MORE ABOUT RUNNING IN WIESBADEN
The central jogging loop runs through the Kurpark behind the Kurhaus and the adjoining Warmer Damm. If you're after elevation, take on the Neroberg, Wiesbaden's local mountain, with views out over the city, then continue through the Nerotal-Anlagen into the sprawling Stadtwald all the way up to the Platte. For flat and long, head to the Rhine: through the Schlosspark Biebrich and along the roughly 3.6-kilometer promenade around the Schiersteiner Hafen.
Groups meet in nearly every neighborhood — in the Rheingauviertel, in Biebrich, Schierstein, Dotzheim, or Klarenthal. Meeting point, day, time, and pace are listed for every group ahead of time. Many runs are free and explicitly aimed at beginners, with no pressure to perform. Just how much Wiesbaden loves to run showed at the 2025 City Marathon, which in its fourth edition sent around 4,700 runners through the city center.
A group in the spa quarter is quick to find, and the next event is quick to book. The best part of running in Wiesbaden is the after-work loop through the Kurpark with people who are happy to stick around afterward. Join in and run with us.
