B2Run 2027: All Cities, Latest Dates and the Team Ranking

B2Run is the company run series where the best time isn't what counts – what counts is how many people from your company run into the stadium together. The 2026 season opened in Aachen in April and ended on 16 September at Berlin's Olympiastadion. The organiser hasn't published the 2027 dates yet – but the wait isn't wasted: now is the time to build the team that will run next year.

What is settled for 2027 – and what isn't

In early October 2026, b2run.de still shows the date list of the season that just ended, and the registration shop reports "No start places available" with a note that more locations will follow shortly. The organiser names no concrete 2027 date for any city. The only statement about 2027 comes from Koblenz: the B2Run at Deutsches Eck had to be cancelled on 26 June 2026 because of heat, and according to the location page B2Run is "looking forward to B2Run Koblenz 2027" – without a date (b2run.de, Koblenz).

Dates for 2027 are already circulating online. Those are projections extrapolated from the 2026 calendar, not confirmation from the organiser. We'll add the real dates as soon as B2Run publishes them. Until then, the 2026 dates are the best guide: in almost every city, B2Run takes place on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening, after work.

The cities: date, stadium, course

For each city, the latest edition – and for all of them, the 2027 date is still to come.

Cologne

The 17th B2Run Cologne took place on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, around the RheinEnergieSTADION in Müngersdorf. The first wave started at 5 pm, followed by further waves every 15 minutes. With 20,000 participants from 930 companies, it was the largest company run in North Rhine-Westphalia, according to the organiser (b2run.de, press release Cologne 2026). The course is a largely flat loop of about 5.3 kilometres with a finish inside the stadium (b2run.de, course Cologne). Important for getting there: in Cologne the bib is not a public transport ticket; Line 1 goes to the RheinEnergieSTADION stop (b2run.de, A-Z Cologne). More: running events in Cologne.

Düsseldorf

On Thursday, 21 May 2026, the 15th B2Run Düsseldorf took place at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA, with the first wave at 6 pm. 16,000 participants from 630 companies set a new record (b2run.de, press release Düsseldorf 2026). The loop is about 5.8 kilometres long, runs along the Rhine and ends in the arena. Participants from the VRR area travel to the start by train for free with their bib (b2run.de, A-Z Düsseldorf). More: running events in Düsseldorf.

Munich

The biggest edition of the series: on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, more than 30,000 people in around 1,700 teams ran the sold-out B2Run Munich (b2run.de, report Munich 2026). The start was from 5 pm in the Olympiapark, in waves 20 minutes apart; the course is about 6 kilometres long and passes the Olympiasee. Because of construction work in the Olympiastadion, the 2026 finish was on the Parkharfe in the B2Run Village. With your bib you travel free of charge across the entire MVV area (b2run.de, A-Z Munich). More: running events in Munich.

Nuremberg

The 14th B2Run Nuremberg on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, brought a participation record: 20,600 people from more than 660 companies, spread across ten start waves from 5:30 pm – two more than the year before (b2run.de, press release Nuremberg 2026). The mostly flat loop of about 6.1 kilometres goes around the Dutzendteich, and the finish is in the Max-Morlock-Stadion. Within fare zones 100 and 200, travel is free with your bib (b2run.de, A-Z Nuremberg). More: running events in Nuremberg.

Hanover

On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, 16,000 participants from 687 companies took on the 6.5 kilometres around the Maschsee at B2Run Hanover – about 2,000 more than the year before. The start was from 5:30 pm in eight waves, and the finish is in the Heinz von Heiden Arena (b2run.de, press release Hanover 2026). More: running events in Hanover.

How your company registers a team

At B2Run, people don't sign up individually via the home page. Instead, one person in the company takes the role of team captain. They create an account, book a block of start places in the B2Run shop and then automatically get their own registration page for the team. They send the link to colleagues, and each person enters their own name and email address there. If the places aren't enough, more can be booked later and will appear on the same page (b2run.de, team captain info).

Prices are tiered by booking time. In 2026, a start place in Düsseldorf cost, for example, €29.90 at the opening rate and €35.90 at the regular rate, and in Munich €36.40 to €46.40, in each case plus VAT (b2run.de, A-Z Düsseldorf and Munich). Book early and you pay less – and in Munich, all three price tiers sold out in 2026. You can also take part without a company: B2Run admits individual runners and private teams (b2run.de, What is B2Run?).

How the team ranking works

For the ranking, a team always consists of five people. You don't have to nominate anyone beforehand: the system automatically takes the five fastest per registered team and category, scored separately for men's, women's and mixed teams. The three fastest men and women in the individual ranking don't count for their team (b2run.de, A-Z Cologne). In Cologne in 2026, the fastest men's team won with a combined time of 1:32 hours for all five (b2run.de, press release Cologne 2026).

There is also "Die Fittesten" (The Fittest): the companies with the most participants, split into SMEs, companies and corporations. In Cologne in 2026 that was REWE Group with 986 people at the start (b2run.de, press release Cologne 2026). For most teams this is the more realistic ranking – it is won by whoever gets the most colleagues moving, not by whoever has the fastest. If you want to run near the front, book a "Durchstarter" ticket for the first block; the organiser recommends this only for men under 4 and women under 5 minutes per kilometre (b2run.de, A-Z Cologne).

From the colleague chat to a training group

Almost anyone who has been out regularly for a few weeks can manage five to six kilometres. The hard part of a company run is rarely the distance but the time before it: a team that meets for the first time at the start area runs next to each other, not with each other. That's why it pays to organise the preparation just like the registration.

How to keep a group like this going for the long term, with a meeting point, a channel and regular people, is covered in our article How to start a running group.

Join in before your company registers

If nobody at your company has started a group yet, you don't have to wait. Many cities have open run clubs that meet after work and welcome new people. On We Up you can find them in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Munich, Nuremberg and Hanover. If you run with one for a few weeks, you'll arrive at B2Run next year with some routine and can bring your colleagues along.
